Restless Souls Congregate

 Past Interferes With Present Again
Back to Full Blog

My first love is what I have been thinking of lately and I must admit all this living in the past is driving me crazy.

You see the summer heat and the feel of the suns sting on my skin has me straight remembering.

Yet still I have someone that wants to give everything to me and says that she will be all that I need.

She is wonderful, beautiful and has a certainty that makes me want to find all these things that she swears she can see in me.

Although every time we close and I feel the intensity why do I feel like I am being unfaithful to an old memory.

Back then I was young and naive all those pretty promises we made actually meant something to me.

I never knew that it would end so hopelessly and that's just the trauma that has started this controversy.

It is so unreal how the past is inerfering with my present once again...why can't I just forget how it was supposed to have been?
