This too is one of my older poems that I am reposting. So tell me what ya think!



In the dead of night our lonely souls interwine. We imagine taking flight together but leave it at for the better.

We dance in our dreams where we cannot be seen. Finding sanctuary in the fact that this could never truly be.

My fears take a toll even though I long to have your hand to hold. Your tears speak volumes but your words are never that bold.

I feel the sparks flying as we flirt with curiousity. Although the consumation of this passion is an impossiblity.

So we leave it at angst filled stares and simple brushes in the hall, because there is comfort in sharing nothing at all.

Thanks for telling me about this song!!! I really like it!

I never saw this relationship coming no these feelings just slowly crept up on me. Although it is because of them that I am happy.

I am slowly finding myself utterly infatuated with the way she says things and the coy way that she plays with me.

Her eyes have hypnotized me and I find myself no longer fighting this pull that her presence in my life is creating.

Still I am so unsure of what this could be or what it is supposed to mean...yet I find myself wanting to wait and see.

Best friends turned lovers is what we were and this confusion that we have become is so obsurd.

I should have listened to those that were concerned when they said that the ending of this would not be good.

Although I was completely ignorant to the toll that time can take. Oh baby why did we both have to change?

Now there is just no way that we could ever go back to our better days. Regarless we did make a few beautiful memories.

That is what I will be taking with me to the next stepping stone because if I have those precious moment then I am never alone.

I guess that there will be one less piece of my heart for the next one. Although I know that I am not done with love yet!

You see that was your gift to me so I will carry it with pride as I continue down this sticky road that is known as life.

I have been changed by sunny days with many smiles...by times full of rain and of course by the pain that lasted only awhile.

I am no longer who I was yesterday. You see I am some what simple in a very complicated way because I have been changed.

There are distinct moment when I felt the shift...like 9/11 and the massacre at Virginia Tech.

Yet also there have been times when the freeing feel of change has snuck up on me, for example right now.

In my past I have been honest yet a liar...but now I found I am whimsical and inspired. Yes, I am changed.

My view is new yet my soul is old and with each trip around the sun that this earth takes...I am changed!!!!
